I was born in a little town in the countryside of Brescia, I graduated from Istituto tecnico per geometri “P. Vacchelli”, Cremona, in 1987. Then, I enrolled at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and read Architecture, where I sat 15 exams before giving up to follow other directions. Together with my husband and my two children, I lived abroad for 15 years (Greece, Belgium and Greece again), mainly to follow my husband’s career, before moving to Milan, in 2011. During this period, I earned a Bachelor degree in Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Bergamo, Italy (2008). I also took actively part in charity and no-profit organizations, both Italian and foreign, mainly in the fundraising section. I can fluently speak several foreign languages, like English, French, Spanish and Modern Greek. Since 2015, I work for the Department through a fixed-term employment contract, in Professor Faravelli’s group. I am in charge of the Coordination Office of the CLEAN-Gas project, a H2020 Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions ITN-EJD won by the group in 2014. Moreover, I am the Quality manager for the project, for which we obtained the ISO9001:2008 accreditation in 2016.
