Andrea Lucotti was born in 1976 in Milano (Italy). He graduated in Materials Engineering in 2001 and he obtained his PhD in Materials Engineering in 2005 under the guidance of Prof. G. Zerbi and Prof. C. Castiglioni (Politecnico di Milano). He is assistant professor in Materials Science and Technology at Politecnico di Milano. His research interests focus on nanomaterials and pi-conjugated advanced materials, applications of vibrational spectroscopy for molecular sensing, Raman spectroscopy and SERS applied to biotechnology and inorganic compounds. He is author of more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and a WO patent.
