1984 - Graduated in Chemistry at Università degli Studi di Pavia
1990 - PhD degree in Industrial Chemistry
Since 2002 she is associate professor at Politecnico di Milano, School of Industrial Processes Engineering.
She is teacher of the courses “Microbiologia Industriale (Industrial Microbiology)” and “Functional
Ceramics Materials” for the 2nd level degree in “Chemical Engineering” and “Materials Engineering and Nanotechnology”.
Her past and present research activity has regarded preparation, characterization and testing of materials for energy production and environmental protection. At present among others she is involved in : 1) hybrid organic-inorganic material and graphene oxide for environmental applications and circular economy, 2) materials for controlled drug delivery and optimized feed.
She is co-author of 125 scientific work ( h index 33, citation numbers 3592) published on international journals, and 4 books chapters.
