Maddalena Carsana, PhD in Materials Engineering. Researcher and assistant professor of materials science and technology at the Civil and Building Engineering Schools of Politecnico di Milano. Her scientific interests deals with the durability of constructin materials, foucusing on corrosion of steel in conventional concrete and sustainable cementitious materials and its prevention.
