Congratulation to Nicolò Allasia, a PhD candidate in Industrial Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, who has been selected to attend the 74th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Chemistry (June 29 - July 4, 2025, Lindau, Germany).

Nicolò will join a selected group of young scientists and about 35 Nobel Laureates to discuss cutting-edge topics such as circular chemistry, sustainability, ethics and AI, and science communication. Since 1951, the Lindau Meetings have offered early-career researchers the rare chance to engage directly with Nobel Laureates and foster global scientific dialogue. In addition to lectures and panel discussions, the program includes interactive sessions, science walks, and informal networking opportunities.

Nicolò is pursuing a PhD at the Department of Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Engineering “Giulio Natta” under the supervision of Prof. Gianvito Vilé, focusing on single-atom catalysts for fine chemical synthesis. The selection for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting is a significant milestone in the academic career of early-career scientists, providing them with a unique platform to engage with leading scientists from around the world, exchange ideas on the future directions of chemistry, and network with some of the brightest minds in the field.
