The Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at the University of Tampere, Finland, has conferred Professor Pierangelo Metrangolo an honorary doctorate «in recognition of contributions to the research fields of supramolecular chemistry and halogen chemistry as well as long-standing interdisciplinary collaboration on photoactive and self-assembled materials».
