Luigi De Nardo, Department of Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Engineering “Giulio Natta”, in the Team of MatRes project, the contribute of Politecnico di Milano in the 17th International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Biennale, running from 22 May to 21 November 2021, within the Italian Pavilion.
2.1 K is an installation that uses a G+ graphene nanoplatelets-based thermal circuit printed on polyamide fabric, that reproducing a pattern of plant cells to simulate the effect of an increase in temperature on their physiology.
Fabric, graphene ink, and printing is provided by Directa Plus, in the framework of a cooperation under GRATA project: GRAfene per il Tessile Avanzato e la Moda took place (financed by Regione Lombardia through the Smart Fashion & Design call).
