The Combustion Institute Board of Directors and the Site Selection Committee have selected the city of Milan to host the 40th International Symposium on Combustion in 2024.

The candidacy was presented last January by Prof. Tiziano Faravelli and the CRECK Modeling Group, on behalf of the Italian section of the Combustion Institute.

Despite the high quality of the numerous applications, Milan turned out to be a step above all, demonstrating once again the excellence of Italy and the Politecnico in the world.
The Department of Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Engineering "Giulio Natta" will be personally involved in organizing the event, also counting on the active and concrete participation of students.
