Special issue of the international journal «Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Research», published by the American Chemical Society, to celebrate the 65th birthday of prof. Giuseppe Storti.  

The approach of prof. Storti towards academic work and towards chemical engineering is an inspiration for colleagues and students of  Department of Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Engineering "Giulio Natta". During his academic life, prof. Storti has explored diverse areas: from separation processes to polymer reaction engineering, always maintaining an approach based on a balanced mix of mathematical modeling and experimental investigation.  

In addition to the dedication to the field of research, that benefited from his great contribution, we would like to point out the passion of prof. Storti towards teaching, an inspiration for many generations of students towards whom he has always shown infinite patience and an innate ability to find the right key to motivate them and push them to give the best of themselves.
