Congratulations to Luna Pratali Maffei, Department of Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Engineering “Giulio Natta”, who won Antonio D'Alessio Award 2024 | Best Ph.D. thesis for the study entitled: Theoretical and kinetic modeling of the combustion of aromatic hydrocarbons.
The Award, at the 1st edition, has promoted by Italian Section of the Combustion Institute (ASICI) for recognizing exceptional thesis work, encompassing either combustion fundamentals or applications, particularly within the context of energy transition and sustainable processes, by addressing relevant chemical, physical, and environmental aspects. It aims to highlight contributions that advance our understanding and address critical issues in these domains.
The prize has been awarded at the 46th meeting of the Italian Section of the Combustion Institute (Bari | June 2-5, 2024).
