Milan, 12 October 2022 - The second edition of the JRC Annual Meeting of the Politecnico di Milano, offered a specific opportunity for illustration of the results achieved thanks to agreements signed between companies and the Politecnico di Milano, giving rise to true Joint Research Centre (JRCs). 

The long-term strategic partnerships formed under the Joint Research Centres provide benefits both in research - with sharing of instrumentation, laboratories and infrastructure, and in training - through development of pathways on specific themes, as well as supports for PhD candidates and young researchers. 

On the stage, together with the rector of Politecnico di Milano Ferruccio Resta and the rector's delegate of the rector for relations with companies Daniele Rocchi, there were also Federico Buffa (R&D Product Style and Licensing Director, EssilorLuxottica), Alessandro Cremonesi (Chief Innovation Officer, STMicroelectronics), Pierpaolo Gambini (Senior Vice President Innovation and IP, Leonardo), Sonia Leva (Professor, Department of Energy, Politecnico di Milano) and MariaPia Pedeferri (Director, Department of Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Engineering "Giulio Natta", Politecnico di Milano).
