During the XXVII Congresso Nazionale della Società Chimica Italiana, the Divisione di Chimica Organica has awarded Prof. Pierangelo Metrangolo Department of Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Engineering "Giulio Natta". with the Medal Giorgio Modena 2021.

The Award was establishment for honoring the scientific vision and academic distinction of Prof. Giorgio Modena, a fearless pioneer of physical organic chemistry and asymmetric catalysis, founder of a world-recognized research center on the study of reaction mechanisms.  

The winner's Lecture will take place on 23 September 2021 at 9:30 am.
