Milan, November 30, 2020 - Congratulations to Greta Colombo Dugoni, PhD Student (NMR Group) and Monica Ferro, Technical Staff, Bi-Rex Team who won the 2020 Award Startup4Good, the call born from the collaboration between the Fondazione Deutsche Bank Italia and PoliHub, with the aims to promote and support startups that know how to stand out for their social impact, offering innovative solutions in the Environment & Sustainability.

Bi-rex is an innovative and eco-sustainable treatment of differents biomass deriving from agri-food processing normally considered and managed as waste, in order to recover high added value products, such as cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, chitin, silica. 

Bi-Rex, a project born in the Department of Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Engineering "Giulio Natta" under the supervision of Prof. Andrea Mele.
