Published on the cover of the Journal «Macromolecules» (American Chemical Society) a study on the synthesis of a new generation of polymer-protein conjugates.
The results highlighted the potential of poly (glycerol monomethacrylate) as an alternative to polyethylene glycol (PEG) for extending the half-life of biotherapeutics. The proposed synthetic approach can inspire the design of a new class of conjugated proteins, through an optimal combination of macromolecular composition and topology.
