As part of the European project  INSIST (IN Silico clinical trials for acute Ischemic Stroke) - H2020 project where the Department of Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Engineering “Giulio Natta” is partner - is experimenting with "In Silico Medicine", which makes it possible to simulate the consequences of a surgery or the effects of a drug on a "digital patient", providing valuable information not only to clinical specialists but also to designers.
