From 9th to 12th September, the EuroCD 2025 | 8th European Cyclodextrin Conference took place at Politecnico di Milano, bringing together more than 150 delegates from 27 countries across 4 continents. The scientific program featured 4 plenary and 4 keynote lectures, 36 oral communications, 18 flash presentations, and 54 posters.
Topics ranged from fundamental cyclodextrin chemistry to diverse applications in drug delivery, analytical chemistry, sustainable and green processes, sensing technologies, and advanced materials.

A highlight of this edition was the introduction of the "Thorsteinn Loftsson Award for Cyclodextrin Chemistry", created to recognize emerging talent in the field.
Additional prizes were also awarded to outstanding poster, flash, and industrially oriented contributions.
