Born in Milano, Italy (1974); Master Degree in Chemistry at the Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy (2001); Doctor of Science in Material Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano, Italy (2005); six months research project with a Marie Curie fellowship at the UMIST of Manchester, UK (2002-2003). Post-doc grant at the Politecnico di Milano, Italy (2005-2006); Post-doc grant at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden (2006-2007); Post-doc grant at the Politecnico di Milano, Italy (2007-2008). Since Nov. 2019 Associate Professor and from Dec. 2008 untill otc 2019 Researcher at the Politecnico of Milan.
The research work is related to chemistry and materials science, focusing on the characterization and preservation of the materials of the cultural heritage:
The research activities are carried out at the Materials and Methods for Cultural Heritage (MaMeCH) laboratory.
