Professor Pierangelo Metrangolo, Department of Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Engineering "Giulio Natta", won the Fluorous Technology Award 2019.

The prestigious award is given every two years during the International Symposium of Fluorous Technologies, which this year was held in Shanghai from 8 to 10 August. The symposium was founded to discuss recent advances, including commercial applications, of technologies related to Fluorous Chemistry.

Receiving fluorous technology award is an important recognition of Metrangolo’s achievements in the innovative research.
