Ravenna, September 28, 2021 - Congratulations to Greta Colombo Dugoni (PhD Student NMR Group) and Monica Ferro (Head Department Laboratory NMR) for the new recognition received by the Bi-Rex project, an awarded innovative startup at the competition dedicated to Italian start-ups active on solutions or technologies that deal with energy transition promoted by OMC2021 (Med Energy Conference & Exhibition).

Bi-Rex, a project born in the Department of Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Engineering "Giulio Natta" under the supervision of Prof. Andrea Mele, is an innovative and eco-sustainable treatment of differents biomass deriving from agri-food processing normally considered and managed as waste, in order to recover high added value products, such as cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, chitin, silica.
