Milan, 17th October 2019 - Inaugurated the “TechnoBiology” labs, at the Department of Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Engineering “Giulio Natta”, two laboratories where engineers and biologists will work to create technological devices and cellular models to study biochemical mechanism involving several organs and biological systems of our body. This is the case of the microbiota-intestine-brain axis, the set of connections that bind the intestinal bacterial flora (microbiota) and the functioning of our brain, investigated in the MINERVA project, funded by the European Research Council that allowed the setting up of the labs. Principal Investigator of the ERC MINERVA project and leader of the TechnoBiology labs is Prof. Carmen Giordano.
