Dr. Arianna Rossi
Department of Physics and Earth Sciences, University of Ferrara, Italy
Arianna Rossi completed her M.Sc. degree in Chemistry (Magna cum Laude) at the University of Ferrara, in 2021. She obtained a PhD in Physics (Magna cum Laude) at the University of Ferrara, entitled: "Functional materials for CO2 sensing for indoor applications" in 2025. Currently, her work is focused on the research and development of innovative nanostructured materials for chemoresistive gas sensors. Beyond material synthesis, her expertise extends to sensor applications, particularly in indoor CO2 monitoring, where she holds a patent.
She also contributes to the development of sensors for outdoor and medical applications. A key aspect of her work involves the advanced application of operando DRIFT spectroscopy, performed under both light- and thermoactivation, to gain deeper mechanistic insights.
