This event will bring together the Heritage Science and Conservation community that Austin helped to build up and nurture throughout his career - a network of
researchers, conservators and friends, spread throughout the world.
Many colleagues have enthusiastically agreed to contribute with short talks celebrating their collaborations and friendships with Austin.
Together, we will honour his memory, his outstanding scientific contributions, and especially the warmth and generosity that made him so beloved.
The event is free and will be held both in person and remotely.
(registered participants will receive the access link)
We welcome you all, and especially young researchers and students, who would like to listen to the extraordinary history of an excellent and beloved researcher in the field of Heritage Science and Conservation.
